SimSpray
SimSpray is an advanced VR training application built in Unity for developing the skills of painters and coating specialists. As the lead developer, I managed a talented multidisciplinary team to deliver impactful software updates, custom add-ons, and new hardware integrations. Key accomplishments include rewriting the paint application physics engine, achieving significant performance gains and enhancing training accuracy; dramatically improving the powder coating physics to replicate the Faraday cage effect more realistically; and redesigning the UI flow to elevate user satisfaction. I collaborated closely with stakeholders to align on design goals, provided accurate scope estimates for new features, and created quotes for custom feature requests.
